Joined board of small speciality retailer with 12 outlets across UK. Business suffered from restricted cash flow and inability to clear all commitments. With management team implemented a recovery plan including relocation of head office, creditor agreements, stock reduction etc. Business returned to positive cash flow and operating profit.

Interim FD for Aerospace manufacturing business. Business recently purchased in distressed state by PE house specialising in turnarounds. Supported management team by introducing tight daily management of cash and capital, including implementation of invoice discounting facilities. Supported board in modelling of budget and identification of new strategic plan to ensure business recovery.

Retained as Interim FD in PE owned manufacturing business supplying to retail multiples in UK. Buesiness in highly restricted cash position and in negotiation with backers, including banks. Supported CEO in negotiation of extension to working capital facilities. Developed financial reporting to improve accuracy of historical and forecast results implementing new forecasting model. Significantly reduced debtor days and inventory reporting resulting in increased order uptake and customer service levels. Supported recruitment of new full time FD.
